All volunteers must complete a criminal background check prior to working in area classrooms. There is no cost to volunteers, but you will be required to provide photo identification, your social security number and your fingerprints. Clearance will take 6 to 8 weeks. Under no circumstance will volunteers be permitted to work with students on behalf of GCEC until clearance has been granted to GCEC by the Silver Consolidated School District.
